Mr. Cliff Aaron Visits Grade 4
By RamazKids.com
Students in grade 4 welcomed Mr. Cliff Aaron, uncle of classmate Mollie Adolf. Mr. Aaron, who is loosing his sight, spoke to the students about his condition and how they can get involved in helping people with disabilities. The students were engrossed in and inspired by Mr. Aaron's words about how he lives his life as a lawyer, travels by train to Manhattan daily, flies with Alto, his service dog, receives and sends emails and correspondences using JAWS, a screen reading software program, and how he matches his clothing. The students asked many good questions including what Mr. Aaron could see and how Alto reacts when other dogs or cats are around. Mr. Aaron encouraged the children to do acts of chesed by helping people with disabilities and to be thankful for their sight and faculties every day.
