Children in grade one prepare to receive their first siddurim

By RamazKids.com

Anticipation and excitement filled the air as children in grade one prepared to receive their first siddurim. The students can now read Hebrew and follow along in the siddur. They are very proud to read the tefilot (prayers) they have been saying by heart. They are learning about the importance of prayer, that they must thank God for the kindness He bestows upon them and that they have the power to entreat God's kindness in times of need. At the celebration, the children had the opportunity to daven with their parents using their new siddurim.

May all their prayers be answered for good. Mazal Tov to the first graders and their families!
